Ex-proof Equipment for Russia

Electrical
and non-electrical components, devices and equipment intended for use in explosive or potentially explosive atmospheres fall under Technical Regulation of the Customs Union TR CU 012/2011 "On safety of equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres" that establish the Ex-proof Certificate. Following, the procedure for issuing the Certificate of conformity according to TR CU 012/2011:
 
  1. Preparation of the required technical documentation in Russian
  2. Production site audit performed by the Russian expert
  3. Selection of samples and tests at the accredited Russian laboratory; processing of the test protocol
  4. Issuance and registration of the EAC Ex certificate
  5. Placement of the EAC Ex Marking
 
During the production site audit, the Russian technicians with the assistance of ENGAL Services technicians will examine the following documents:
 
  • Quality manual
  • Procedures adopted by the Company for the control of manufacturing
  • Documents that confirm the results of quality control
  • Product construction data (drawings, diagrams, etc.)
  • Risk analysis
  • Operational manual in Russian and data sheets
  • European Atex Certificates
  • Test protocols
  • Documentation related to the entire technological process (from design to testing)
 
Following the site audit, the expert will also determine samples that have to be sent to the Russian laboratory for tests. At the end of the certification procedure the manufacturer can affix the EAC Ex marking on the product.
