NR 13 Brazilian Standard Download

The NR 13 Brazil standard is a law adopted by the Brazilian Ministry of Labor (MTE) in June 1978 through the MTb Ordinance No. 3.214. Originally, the NR 13 legislation, entitled " Vasos sotto pressione ", dealt precisely with pressure tanks only.
To date, the NR 13 standard has undergone eight revision processes in content and sometimes in the title. The MTb ordinance n. 1082, of 18 December 2018, made a substantial modification to the NR-13, giving it the new title " Caldeiras, Vasos de Pressão, Tubulações e Tanques Metálicos de Armazenamento ", which it still maintains today. The current version of the Brazilian NR 13 therefore deals with a broad spectrum of pressurized equipment including boilers, vessels, pipes and tanks.
