NR 17 Brazilian Standard Download

DEEPENING

The NR 17 Brazilian standard is a law adopted by the Brazilian Ministry of Labor (MTE) in 1978, subject to several revisions and updates, which regulates a very important aspect of workers' health: ergonomics. Specifically, the Brazilian NR 17 regulation regulates workplace ergonomics, human - machine interaction - work environment, the physiology of movements performed by workers, the design of systems and machinery.

In order to obtain the NR 12 Certification, the machinery must be in compliance also with NR 17 requirements applicable to human-machine interaction. For this reason, it is very important to consider, at the design and manufacturing stage, the applicable requirements of the Brazilian NR 17 regulation.
