Furniture Certification for Russia and EAEU

The label, which must be legible, must contain the following information in Russian (or in another official language of the member state of the Customs Union where the sale takes place):
The EAC Certification procedure is mandatory; it certifies that the product complies with requirements and standards established by russian legislation.
Furniture and furnishing products in general are subject to an EAC Declaration of conformity, while children's furniture is subject to a stricter control, in fact the EAC Certificate of conformity is required.
In the current year, strict state measures have been adopted to verify compliance with the requirements foreseen by the Technical Regulation. It is necessary to prevent the risk of contesting the conformity of the product (with consequent withdrawal from the market and possible inclusion of the manufacturer in the black list) through the required EAC Certification.

The EAC Certification covers all the main European export products destined to the Russian market. Industrial plants and machinery, clothing, footwear, food, furniture and lighting products are subject to mandatory EAC Certification. The Technical Regulation TR CU 025/2012 on the safety of furniture establishes precise mechanical, chemical, hygienic, fire and electrical safety requirements for furniture products. This standard also regulates the information that the producer must provide to consumers through:
- The label
- The instruction manual
- Assembly instructions (if the piece of furniture is shipped unassembled)

- Manufacturer identification, company name and address (logo if available)
- "Made in"
- Name of the Applicant
- Date of production
- Warranty term
- Product life
- EAC logo
